Battle Tanks Nederland

Been running my Stock Torro Jagdtiger for a while now , but desided I wanted to make it more 'mine'
Removing skirts and New Paint job Down the road .

Skirts coming of , now That involves a bit of hack'n slash , and some work With sheets of evergreen , not my strongest side but here is how I did it .





With fenders of, time to remove the last strip of molded plastic. Also this is the part that needs filling inn later

With that removed, time to fill in the gaps












I would have liked to have 1 mm on the outside, but my LHS was out, so it had to be 0,5mm

This is out of my comfy zone , and I would think this small job is a no brainer for all that have been a little into evergreen sheet work , but I have to take my time not f... it up ;D

Side plate cut to shape and holes for Tools/cables etc are drilled



Add a few Ludwig parts

Paper cut out's for test fitting

not much other than a few weld lines

Would item not have been beter to include the superstructure tot the sideplate?
This was 1 single plate on the real machine

This guy is probably working with evergreen for the first time. Needs to learn.

True true Reiner , a mistake by me . but Lucky only 0,5mm used for side plate , so the small gap between upper part and side wall will not be so noticable.. I will fill it With mud

What you canon also do is apply aan 0.5mm sheet tot the top part and fill the line beween the 2
Is a bit more work but looks far better that way

I will look into it . Maybe when I put top back on , it will not feel right without change that also.

BTW, on photo, the top super struckture is not 'snapped' into Place , only resting on top loosly ,
