i started a churchill over on the uk forum some time ago so the first post will come fast as i catch up with the build sofar its going to be a long build as i have to make a bridge as well heres some pics of the lower hull sofar

heres some more pics i will try and get you all up to date asap
i am useing tamiya sherman return rollers as thay are the right size for the churchill

the side sponson done starting to take shape now

made the escape hatch and a little more detale

built one of the air filters did not come out to bad

heres a pic of the churchill with the tamiya gearboxes fitted




i have test ran it it runs well
heres a pic of the track guards its starting to get there now


got the basic deck done and started the turret

well heres is a bit more work got a lot of rivet heads done and got the AVRE mounts done



a bit more done just need to put the big round bolt heads on and that will be one sponson done

But where the tracks not identical to a panzer3?

hi the tracks are modified panther tracks i have removed the ice cleats and cut them down to the right width

now i have finished the sponsons i have started work on the turret i have made the elevation mount and i have started the petard mortar


well i got the mortar done and i got the detale done and got the roof of the turret cut out

The Churchill is for me an ugly ducky, but what an outstanding scratch model you' are building !!!!

got the drivers and mg gunners hatch done and the periscope surrounds done and the mg plate on the front and the front drivers door


got some more done got the basic engine hatches done the rear air intake and the exhausts done


well thats the engine deck done just some small bits of detail to do then the hull will be ready for paint

hi rene i have no plans to do a kit at the moment
well the turret is built just nesd to put a rolled steel effect on it then paint time
